2. Dogrelate General Terms and Conditions

All training and rehabilitation techniques used by Dogrelate are kind, fair and reward based. Every training & rehabilitation provides individual tuition and a relaxed environment. Trainings are designed to be fun and rewarding for both dog and owner but in the interest of safety, responsibility and welfare it is important that the following terms and conditions are noted.

Harsh handling is not permitted in training and is strongly discouraged at any other time.

Dogrelate does not restrict the number of family members that are allowed to the training (the more the merrier) and children are more than welcome. However, an adult must accompany young people under the age of 16. Young children under the age of five are also welcome; a second adult should also attend to enable one adult to concentrate on the child and the other with the dog.

All dogs attending the training should be fully vaccinated and up to date with their boosters. Please do not bring your dog to the training if he or she has been in contact with another dog infected by a contagious disease. If you are unsure whether or not to bring your dog to the training please do not hesitate to call Dogrelate or speak with your veterinary surgeon. If a dog is unable to attend training due to sickness, the owner is asked to give notice as soon as he finds out.

Dogrelate Training Terms and Conditions

By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and fully accept our terms and conditions as detailed below:

Dogrelate Bookings
  1. When time allows before the first training, we will send you confirmation of your booking. This will confirm payment, the intake date, and give other information pertinent to your booking.
  2. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they attend on the correct date, time and place for the trainings.
  3. Booking confirms your attendance at single bootcamp trainings and at the 10 x bootcamp training course. Please make every effort to attend the appointments. If you are unable to attend, please let Dogrelate know as soon as possible.

Dogrelate Training Attendance

  2. To make the most of the classes and achieve optimal results, many short daily training sessions at home are favourable to allow you and your dog to practice the techniques and lessons prior to the next class.
  3. It may at times, be necessary to cancel sessions due to inclement weather. This will be seen as a postponement with the session rolling over to the following week.
Dogrelate Training Rules
  1. The use of physical force and punishment-based training techniques are not permitted in Dogrelate trainings.
  2. We acknowledge that successful human-dog training depends on a combination of learned skills on part of the dog and owner. As such Dogrelate will work directly with any dog to communicate current best practice animal behaviour knowledge that best suits the human’s and the dog’s needs.
  3. A dog’s behaviour is ultimately the owners’ responsibility and Dogrelate will make every reasonable effort to help the client attain goals, but makes no guarantee of performance, on the part of the client or dog as a result of providing professional dog behaviour modification training and rehabilitation.
  4. If a Dogrelate client decides to consult another dog trainer or dog behaviourist while receiving dog training services of any type with Dogrelate and if Dogrelate has not recommended specifically this dog trainer or behaviourist, Dogrelate reserves the right to end the relationship with the client and will not be liable to respond to any further inquiry.
